1. Make Sure You Build An Email List

If you don’t have an email list that you can work from you don’t have a reliable affiliate marketing business yet. Once you have an email list then your traffic is completely in your control!

For example: Your blog can drop in rank due to Google’s SEO changes and your traffic will directly see that result. Your Youtube channel can lose its position, and in facebook you must invest a lot of time to make money and you run the risk of your account getting banned.

With email lists you have the traffic control!

2. Focus on a Niche

Back to working smart! Make sure you do your research, and ensure the niche that you pick is something that interests you and is specific. You want to generate visitors that are very highly targeted to your niche to optimize click through rate on your offers.

Lets face it, if your working hard but getting visitors that have different interests, while you may generate an email list, most of the contacts may not be interested in the offer you are trying to promote since it doesn’t relate to them.

3. Set A Budget

Don’t invest more money in affiliate programs than you are ready to lose. Select a fixed amount and keep a close eye, here you can optimize and adjust the budget to the working offers/campaigns.
